Marriage Reconciliation – Again, and Again, and Again
Remembering the day that Julie and her husband Jim Norman stood before their church family and Jim announced that their marriage had been as dead as Lazarus, but that God had raised it up again, still springs instantaneous tears of gratitude to Julie’s eyes. The thought that she and Jim came so close to missing out on the marriage God had always wanted for them is more than she can bear.
Years of misunderstanding, miscommunication, frustration, anger and resentment, and even betrayal had taken their toll on the second marriage each of them had hoped would be better than their firsts. When the last child left home, the last distraction went with her, and Jim and Julie were utterly alone – together.
A year of separation, a year of Bible study, a year of Biblical counseling and a church fellowship that knew how to pray and come alongside a struggling couple, resulted in the salvation of a marriage neither individual was sure they wanted anymore.
Through the years, Jim and Julie have been blessed to share their story of a marriage redeemed with couples who are considering divorce, as they were. Everyone knows there are two sides to any marriage story and Julie likes to make sure Jim has his say…so, when you hire Julie to talk about the miracle of a marriage saved – you get Jim, too!
